Chloe SS18 Paris Fashion Week
After spending her entire career with Nicolas Ghesquière, Natacha Ramsay-Levi has taken over as the Creative Director at Chloe. For her first collection for the brand, she replaced the bohemian looks that Clare Waight Keller become know for with cool street-smart girls with attitude.
The collection presented a mix of looks, some of which drew on the work of her predecessors. There were dresses with tarot symbols, a nod to safari, linear shirt-and-pants looks that she described as “more pop,” and jeans cropped and cuffed below the knees.
This is my favorite collection from Chloe in many years. I will miss the flowy pastel colored bohemian dresses that Clare Waight Keller designed, but Natacha Ramsay-Levi's collection is a refreshing update. From the leopard print dresses to the sophisticated pant suits and patent leather and snakeskin peep-toe combat boots, I literally love every piece.
