Pre-Fall Shopping Guide

· · Comments

It may still be July, but fall is right around the corner which means it's time to start editing your closet and adding a few new pieces to update your wardrobe. Fall is my favorite season, I get to move my boots from the back of the closet to the front row and my cozy sweaters come out of hiding. I typically will get one new pair of jeans, boots that I can wear from fall to spring, a statement dress, maybe a couple sweaters and a bag.

Here are some of my top picks for the upcoming season:

I've started to wear dresses more often partly because I feel that a great dress can make you look effortlessly chic even if you literally just rolled out of bed. Which is often the case with me. I also wanted to break my routine of always wearing the same jeans, boots and a limited rotation of a handful of shirts.

I absolutely love Tanya Taylor, every collection is made in NYC and is inspired by the power of simple feminine shapes and enhanced with colorful prints.
Valentine Witmeur makes great knitwear that is designed in Belgium and manufactured in Portugal in a small family-owned atelier using Italian threads.

I love these GRLFRND x REVOLVE Helena Jeans High-Rise Straight Crop Jean. They are the pretty jeans to transition from summer to fall in.
These Levi's overalls are a classic style and will be great for the weekends.
I already know I need these boots from Anine Bing (more like really, really want, plus I don't have a pair of blue suede ones yet so I really do need them to round out my color options). I bought the black version last year it was the best purchase I made all year.
I love this ruby color crossbody saddle bag from All Saints. It's the perfect bag for all seasons plus it's currently part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
This tote bag is the perfect carry all for everyday use plus it's on sale for $36.
