What if I receive a damaged item?

In the unfortunate event that an item arrived damaged please email us at hello@marriedatsea.com within 2 days of receiving your order and include photos of the damaged item and packaging. Since the items we sell are often vintage or rare and irreplaceable we will need to open a case with our carrier and determine what the next steps are.

What if I receive the wrong item?

If you receive the wrong item, please notify us immediately at returns@marriedatsea.com.

Can I sell my personal items on Married at Sea?

We would love for you to consign with Married at Sea! Simply email consign@marriedatsea.com to start the process.

How do you authenticate?

We guarantee that all items sold on our site are 100% authentic. All products are inspected before being sold online including using a third-party authenticating company to verify all our Chanel handbags.

How do I know if the item will fit me?

We do our best to include relevant measurements and sizing of our products. If you would like additional measurements and/or photos of an item please email us at hello@marriedatsea.com and we will be our best to help you satisfy your request. 

How do you determine conditions of your items?

All our items are certified authentic. We use 5 categories to describe the condition of each item.

New with Tags: Item is pre-owned but has never been worn. Original store or designer tags are still on item.

New with defects: Item is new with tags, but has slight defects.

Excellent: Pre-owned, but shows no signs of wear.

Good: Pre-owned, but shows slight signs of wear.

Shows signs of wear: Pre-owned or vintage, and while still an excellent piece, shows some obvious signs of wear throughout item.

SHIPPING

How do I check on my order?

You'll receive an email when each item you order ships.

When will my order ship?

We will ship your order within 3 business days of payment. For orders shipping to a US address it may take anywhere from 3-7 business days after you receive your tracking information for your package to arrive.

Where is my order confirmation?

An order confirmation will be sent to you via an email from sales@marriedatsea.com.

What happens if I do not receive my package?

Please notify us at hello@marriedatsea.com within 7 days after you place your order and we will open an inquiry case with our carrier.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping within the continental United States is free via UPS. Second Day Air is $35 and next-day air is $50.

International shipping is a flat rate of $55. Please email for expedited international shipping rates.

Canadian shipments are a flat rate of $40. $5.00 is added per additional item for International and Canadian shipments.

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

We accept returns for clothing and shoes. To initiate a return you must email us at returns@marriedatsea.com within 3 days of receiving your order. Please note all handbags, accessories, jewelry and sale items are FINAL SALE and not eligible for return.

How do I return an item?

Please email us at returns@marriedatsea.com with your name and order number.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Yes, Married at Sea does not cover the cost of return shipping.
